Culture Of Living In Serbia

Serbia sits both literally and figuratively at the very heart of a cultural crossroads: geographically, via Corridor VII Serbia links the North and the West with the East, while via Corridor X and the Danube it links the distant Port of Hamburg with the south-eastern and eastern countries. Our highways and railroads connect the Adriatic ports of Croatia and Montenegro in the West, the Port of Thessaloniki on the Mediterranean in the South and the Black Sea ports.

Serbia’s culture of living reflects diverse influences: the professionalism of the North, the commitment of the West, the warmth and amiability of the South, the determination of the East – a perfect balance of tradition and progress.

As the owner of a Serbian IT company that has been operating for over 15 years, and as one of the initiators of the IT Serbia Podcast in 2014, I watched from the front lines the incredible development of the domestic IT industry. Powered by the synergy of IT companies, state and educational institutions, and numerous IT associations, the Serbian IT industry has moved from relatively small to one of the largest branches of the Serbian economy. Serbian IT is currently in the trend of transforming from service-based to product-based business models. With the leading Web3 role in the region and the world, I am sure that the development of the Serbian IT industry will be further accelerated.
